Real life application for boiling point elevation?

Any anyone list examples of adding salts to liquids to raise boiling point used in life?
As in industry, biology of animals, anything?

If I remember correctly a use is to keep radiators from evaporating in warm climates. I'll have to go look that up though.

Salt is often added to water before you boil noodles. Whether that's to obtain a higher boiling temperature, or salt the noodles, I do not know
