Balanced Chemical Eqaution...
« on: April 08, 2009, 08:12:46 PM »
What is the balanced chemical equation for the following?

75 mL of water was placed in a beaker and then 0.50 g of each solid reactant was placed inside the beaker to form a precipitate and another solution.
-Strontium chloride reacts with copper (II) sulfate pentahydrate to produce strontium sulfate as a precipitate.  The other product formed is copper (II) chloride, which remains in solution.

Thanks.

Can you begin to solve this one for yourself?  Do you have an example of a chemical equation, and can you start converting these words into one?
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.
