H2SO4 + Mg(OH)2 -->  ?
 When they don't completely dissociate into salt and water  I feel kind of lost,  can someone please help?

It's an acid-base/neutralisation reaction, one of the products will be water.
Can you work out the other one?  :)

i think its  MgSO3 and h2o

H2SO4+Mg(OH)2---> 2H20 + MgSO4
but i thought it may b diff beacuse Mg(OH) is not a strong base

Well is it MgSO3 or MgSO4? You've got two different answers. ???

Mg(OH)2 is not a strong base but the reactions taking place are still the dissociation of H2SO4 and Mg(OH)2 even if Mg(OH)2 does not dissociate completely.
