ok so we did a lab in class today.
I was suppose to use 3 test tubes.
The first would be full of ethyne gas, the second tube was half full and the third tube had 1 cm of gas.
And then we were told to ignite each tube with a burning splint.
From the observation, the first tube caught fire but was really slow. The second was faster and made a bit of pop sound.
The third tube was very loud. It almost sounded like the tube shattered.
But what does this lab explain? Does it mean that the third tube had a more complete equation then compared to the first tube?
