Hi all,

Me and my prac group did an experiment and had to determine the rheological of simple linctus. The linctus, in short, contained citric monohydrate dissolved in concentrated anise water, a preservative, and glycerol. In our experiment it seemed that when exposed to varying rates of shear, that it first experienced pseudoplastic flow, and than experienced dilatant flow. My question is, is it possible for a non-newtonian liquid to exhibit two types of flow? Or have we screwed up?
