BALANCING using oxidation numbers

How would you balance H2O2(aq) + ClO2-->ClO2- + O2 (basic)? The hydrogens on both sides do not balance when I use oxidation numbers. *delete me*

are you sure of your equation?
maybe it should be 2H+ on the right side.

Not in terms of charge it isn't. With your equation you have no net charge on the left, and a net positive charge on the right.

What do you think the two half equations are?
