Challenging Grade 11 Chemistry Question
« on: June 14, 2009, 02:32:08 PM »
The answer is B however I do not understand this question at all. First of all, is the first tank 1000kg with the 500kg gas in it or are they 1500kg together? Can someone solve this for me please and explain how to do it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

The constant for the first and the second tank is volume. You can count what volume is occupy by ethane and then count how many kilograms of CH4 in the same condition will occupy that volume.
