net ionic equation for NaOH (aq)+ BaCl2(aq) reaction

what is the net ionic equation for this reaction?
NaOH(aq)+BaCl2(aq)---->
i thought the products would be NaCl and Ba(OH)2 both of which are soluble but the reaction yields a white ppt after short time.

White precipitate comes from BaCO
3

As AWK wrote - NaOH is almost always contaminated with Na
2
CO
3
, as it absorbs CO
2
from the atmosphere.
