Relationship between isomers of hexane
« on: July 19, 2009, 07:12:19 AM »
Hullo there,

after serious brain crunching i have still not been able to answer this question and i appreciate any help given to me
.

what is the relationship between 2,3-Dimethylbutane - CH3CH(CH3)CH(CH3)CH3 and 2,2-Dimethylbutane - CH3C(CH3)2CH2CH3, they are isomers of hexane.

here is a wiki link with some more info. any kind of input about the relationship between them would be brill.

cheers
