SciFinder (ChemicalAbstracts) is the best database to find information about organic chemistry.
Hope you are aware that SciFinder also have the possibility to draw chemical substances and reactions. I find this tool very helpful.
There is some other databases like "ISI Web" where you can find information. ex Scopus and PubMed
Ask your local library about reference-books. If I remember correctly Beilstein and Chemical Abstracts are reference book. But I think most of the information in these book have been digitalised. It's a lot easier (and faster) to search databases than use referencebooks.
