Bad note taking, any chemist good at guessing?
« on: September 01, 2009, 02:10:52 PM »
Hi all,

I'm new here and I was wondering if anyone can help me decipher my own notes I took half a year ago.

I have a list here of Lewis structures and on one of them I can't make out what the actual chemical formula is, I just have this picture I drew with no symbols. I can guess as far as maybe the hydrogen atoms within the structure, but that's about it. I don't have a scanner to scan my notes in but I can recreate the picture with Paint and Word. Here it is:

Can anyone help me?

Your image defies all known bond-drawing conventions. Maybe you should try a cryptography forum.
