pH OF CHLORINE SALT
« on: September 13, 2009, 08:19:35 AM »
Group 1 metals form salts when they react with chlorine.

What is the pH of aqueous solutions of their salts?

i think it would be alkaline because chlorine is akaline, can someone please confirm and the exact pH? LIKE pH 11?

Bleach is not chlorine. It contains chlorine, or more precisely - hypochlorite.
