Lets say I want to build my own container thats rated to over 8000 psi of pressure coming from steam. How do I KNOW if a container can handle that without blowing up? Would 2-inch cast iron plates welded into a box shape work?
EDIT: I should probably mention that the pressurized steam DOES have a way out, once a certain pressure is reached. That certain pressure is to be determined, and if the "flue" doesn't work, the pressure release valve will blow all of it out if it hits a to-be-determined critical level.
