terms in spectroscopy
« on: November 05, 2009, 03:54:58 AM »
Is there any meaning difference in this 3 terms commonly used in spectroscopy? Spectrum, spectra and spectral. I'm so confused.

Thanks

Spectrum is a singular term, the plural is spectra http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spectrum

Spectral is "of or relating to a spectrum"
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
