I need to get some sodium tert butoxide for an experiment I am doing at home. Does anyone know where I could get a small amount of this substance also known as sodium tert butylate? I would also be able to use diethyl ether but cannot find any place that I can get either of these. Please help.

I think it'd be more likely you could get your hands on some sodium and tert butyl alcohol and make it yourself.
