Hey there! I think this question is quite fun, so I post it here to share with you guys.

i) Write a reaction scheme to show how dopamine(3,4-dihydroxyphenethylamine) could be prepared from 1,2-dihydroxybenzene.
ii) Describe chemical test which could be performed on dopamine to confirm the presence of phenolic and amino group in it. Write equations for the reactions involved.
