when an indigestion tablet containing CaCO3 is added to HCl...the reaction produces CO2 which escapes so then what is left in the beaker?H20 CaCL2(salt) and unreacted HCl ? so 3 things remain?

That is, assuming there was excess of HCl, not excess of carbonate
