EDTA and determine hardness of a water sample question

In an aqueous solution containing a mixture of Zn2+ and Mg2+, how would you determine their contents by means of EDTA titration?

Also, I did the determine hardness of a water sample but I don't know how to write the discussion(Lab report)

Anyone hlep me?
