does anyone know if any beta-glucans from the yeast cell wall could pass through a 10kDa filter? and also whats a good analytical assay for beta-glucans?

Don't know the answer to the filtration question but our labe use the assay kits from Megazyme (UV analysis) and the AACC methodology.  Different kit are available for the different likages.
