Hey I am a sophomore undergrad and I have been working with one of my professors on research.  She is a new professor and this is her first time starting a new research project.  We are having poor yields and our Fmoc group is becoming unprotected without the addition of piperidine.  We are using the synthesis instructions at http://www.anaspec.com/html/peptide_tips.html.  Has anyone else had these problems?

Sorry to reply so late, but can you give a better idea of what exactly you're doing?  FYI, peptide couplings can be VERY finicky and finding the right coupling conditions can be tedious.
