Morphine acid-base reaction?
« on: April 11, 2010, 06:06:31 PM »
Hi,

I was reading about acid-base reactions in my organic chemistry book, and I found something interesting that said that it is not morphine what acts as an analgesic, but its charged species are the ones that act as analgesics in an organism, can someone please give the acid .-base reaction of morphine, by the way the books author is L. G. Wade, fifth edition.
