The question I was looking at was phrased something similar to: what happens to the Ag1+ concentration in a saturated solution of Ag2CrO4 if you add a strong acid. I thought about HCL and came to the Conclusion that the ag concnetration would decrease because the ag and cl would form AgCl which would precipitate. Did I reason this correctly? The only reason I doubt my answer is bcause if you use a different strong acid such as hno3 then the ag won't precipitate...what happens then?
Thanks
