Having trouble finding the starting material to make these compounds

I'm having a lot of trouble with this mostly bc we haven't really talked about it in class yet. I don't even know where to start.

What kind of starting materials am I supposed to be using??

these are all examples of aldol condensation, best tip i can give you is to cut the molecules at the double bond position and work your magic from there. ill just give you the first one you can work out the rest. if you work out the mech you'll get it right every time.
