If samples of hydrogen and iodine with partial pressures of 0.400 and 0.100 respectively at 430 degree celcius (where K = 50) were sealed in a flask and the reaction left at this temp to come to equilibrium find
a) the equib partial pressures of the three gases.ok so i am a bit stuck. I made an I.C.E table and came up with this equation
Which i simplified to this
now i am stuck , i worked out the quadratic and got x = 0.4221 & x = 0.09871.
I put them into the original equation and it doesnt come out right.
Can someone please help me!
