Well.....silver is considered a hazardous  material..

I work at a professional photolab..and we pay someone to come in and take it..

Otherwise there are many silver reclamation methods that can be used to filter the silver.

Some have it precipitate out as a sludge....other methods are around

just do a Google search for silver reclamation....you should find info...I did

If you are interested in reclaming it for resale...Buy black and white film online for cheap.....black and white has much more silver than color film..since color uses mostly dyes....And just pass the film through the cleanser and do not pass it through the developer.  This way all of the silver is rinsed off for reclamation.
