All the ways to get salt
« on: May 12, 2010, 02:10:19 AM »
Hi. My name is Florin, and I'm from Romania.
What are the ways to get salt?
I want examples like: metal oxide+acid->salt +H2O (and a example of a reaction)
Sorry for my bad english. Have a nice day!

Please read forum rules.

What methods do you already know?

How react metallic elements (oxides or hydroxides) with nonmetallic elements (its oxides or acids)?
Write down 9 types of reactions!

Have you seen what happens to a piece of metal put into acid?

Or perhaps you have heard about reaction between bases and acids?

Have you read what AWK wrote? Try to write nine possible reactions between metal/metal oxide/metal hydroxide and nonmetal/nonmetal oxide/nonmetal based oxoacid.
