cosmeceuticals?

Hi guys,

I'm new here and right now doing my undergraduate studies in Industrial Chemistry.I've read some articles on cosmeceuticals and found out that there are some arguments about this topic. I would to ask your opinion about cosmeceutical. Can this thing considered as a drug? ???Help me on this guys.Thanks

I have nothing against cosmeceuticals - in fact I use one.  I have a cream called ScarZone that is supposed to diminish the look of scars, but it also contains sunscreen of SPF 30.

Btw, I had no idea it was a cosmeceutical until I looked it up.  For anybody else not 'in the know', a cosmeceutical is a product that is used for both cosmetic and pharmaceutical purposes. (Courtesy of Dictionary.com)

Hi Lemonoman,

I'm confuse about this cosmeceuticals thing. Do you have any websites or resources that you know about this topic?. Hope I can find some good article about it. Anyway, thanks for replying to this post..
