hi all,
iam a university student on attachment and iam working on a project to make amitraz, a pesticide active ingridient. i have identified three raw materials which are triethyl orthoformate, methylamine and 2,4-xylidine. however, it has been difficult to come up with the right conditions as they are highly reactive materials and iam producing alot of by-products. also, i was thinking whether the following compound exists or if can be made: (CHO)2N(CH3)
