phosphorus

On the phosphorus that are selled is used white phosphorus or red phosphurus? because the color is red what should be red phosphurus. But i read that red phosphurus does not catch fire in air at temperatures below 260 °C and when we used it caught fire very simple. And if was white phosphurus despite it caught fire at 30 ºC is the least stable, the most reactive, more volatile, less dense, and more toxic what is danger. Then should be violet or black phosphurus or there is anything more below the head of the phosphurus?
