Organic Nomenclature questions
« on: January 05, 2012, 07:44:22 PM »
I was wondering how you would name C5H10O. If it was an ether, with 2 carbons on one side and 3 carbons on the other side. The side with 2 carbons, has a double bond in between the 2 carbons.
C=C-O-C-C-C (Didn't bother writing hydrogens).
