what is the difference between free fatty acids and Acid Hydrolysis Fat?

Can anyone explain the above, I am looking at cow manure and foodwaste, for anaerobic digestion.

Actually first I would like to understand the difference between free fatty acids and volatile fatty acids

Free fatty acids are those which are not esterified, volatile are probably esterified.
