Topic: What is the formula for the reaction between salicylic acid and iron  (Read 23816 times)

i know salicylic acid is c7h603 and iron is fe3+ so is the iron complex that forms just Fe(C7H6O3)3 ??

my book says it's a 1:1 relationship so is it just C7H6O3 + Fe3+ --> FeC7H603??

Note - iron(III) can form 3 complexes with salicylic acid eg
