Acidic Ester Hydrolysis: Reaction Kinetic
« on: October 15, 2010, 01:38:18 PM »
Hey everybody, here is my problem:

I am doing a sets of experiment about reaction rate of ester hydrolysis( effects of temperature, concentration, acidic and base catalyst etc). I used conductivity method in basic condition(NaOH) but I have no idea how to do it for acidic condition.I found out it is a reversible reaction for acidic condition and my lecturer said I should use other method to determine the reaction rate.

Does anyone here could give suggestion what  method should I use?.

Thanks in advance.
