Okay i start school tomorrow and i am burning the midnight oil trying to get this stupid summer packet done for AP chem...HELP
I have 2 problems i just cant figure out and they are:
1: Solid sodium carbonate is heated (he is asking for a simple reaction prediction).
2: when sodium carbonate reacts with hydrochloric acid, the carbonic acid that is formed immediately breaks down into carbon dioxide and water. What mass of sodium carbonate would have been originally present if 5.0 L of carbon dioxide was produced? (hint: Molar volume of a gass is 22.414 L/mol)
