Just ran into the concept of pyroelectric! Tourmaline seems to be good for this, but is it expensive? I think its considered a precious stone...  

Is power output from piezoelectric effects and pyroelectic effects mostly the same?

i like the piezoelectric idea.. there are cheap man made crystals such as lead titanates/lead zirconates.. very stable crystals... as you know of these crystals genetrate petential enegery difference due to external stress.. so why not find a crystal triggered by noice   you don't need to kick anybody or nething people around you would give enough power to it.. sound waves.. yea less energy but stomething is possible atleast..
