I just want to make sure that I am correct in my answer.
So if you place a jar containing a solution of copper 2+ (color blue) in front of a spectroscope and look at the sunlight, which colors will you see in the spectrum and which colors will you not see?
So since it is light blue, the complementary color of light blue is red, so therefore all colors except for red will be seen since the red will be absorbed by the solution.
Is this correct?
