Enthalphy change trials

My chemistry teacher is kind of weird. ???  He asked me when adding CuSO4 (aq) with Zn (s) calculating 10 second interval and 5 minutes cooling down. He asked me why it should be 10 second interval and 5 minutes cooling down. Even though it is mention on the worksheet what kind of answer should I give then? :'( This is posted to all who can helped!! please if you can ANSWER THIS!! help me out, (also add the internet source if can) any means necessary!!!! :o

If you're not paraphrasing then I have no idea what the hell hes talking about. Measuring the temperature at 10 second intervals?
