REDOX EQUATION - PLEASE HELP
« on: November 18, 2010, 02:45:51 AM »
Hi there I am new at this forum and I would like to spend a nice time here.

I have a question about redox reaction:
Cl2 + NaOH = NaOCL + NaCl + H2O

Can you help me balance this? I need it for a few hours later. So please respond.

Thanks

I guess it was some mistake by AWK.

Chlorine gets both oxidized and reduced.
