I have a question about the concentration value I should put in when calculating the dissociation constant for Ostwald’s Dilution Law.
Let’s say I have a solution of 0.01 mol dm-3 with a molar conductance of 5.07xE-3 and limiting molar conductance of 4.043xE-2.
I can figure out the degree of dissociation, α in this case 0.125, but when I come to put it in to the formula Cα2/1–α I’m not sure if I should put in 0.01 or 0.01xE3 for concentration? Can anyone explain this to me please?
