regent and solvent question

What is the reagent and solvent combination which would result in the fastest reaction with methyl bromide (R = CH3 in all cases)?
A) ROH, HMPA
B) RS−, H2O
C) RO−, H2O
D) RS−, DMSO
E) RSH, H2O

I don't know how to start this one at all....

MeBr undergo SN2 substitution Rx , so the more basic the nucleophile " ease to give electron" and the polar aprotic solvent ... try now to figure it

ok so that leaves A and D...and out of those D is a better nucleophile? right?
