I am trying to design a bench scale high pressure stirred tank slurry reactor. The reactant is insoluble in water and hence forms a slurry, it is supposed to react with water and hydrogen gas (Also helps in agitation) in the presence of solid catalyst. The products are soluble in water and i intend to take it out of the reactor through a membranes so the unreacted solid and catalyst remain in the reactor.
Looking for any helpful tips, ideas, comments, and bench or large scale commercial reactor systems you might know of.
