i have the choice of physics or chemistry, or i can even take both as a class.

i was wondering
 what are the main differences between physics and chemitry?
 what are pros and cons for both?

Well it depends on what you like and what you want to pursue with your knowledge in either subject.

I personally liked physics more than chem.
But when i began to delve deeper into chem i began to like it as well. (ps I might be saying this not to get booted out of this forum. LOL!)

you can also take physical chemistry   then you have both

I think it depends more on whether or not you have a more mathematical mind.  Chemistry is great in that it encompasses a great many different fields, including those with a more physical inclination; however, physics is rich in deeper explainations if you're patient enough to go through the math.
