Conductivities of LiF and CsI
« on: January 17, 2011, 04:20:48 AM »
I've been having trouble trying to find a "concrete" way of determining whether LiF or CsI has a greater conductivity (both in 1M solutions).

I am thinking that the conductivity of LiF is lower than that of CsI.  I know that LiF does not have a greater conductivity.  So I am either to hedge on the conductivity of LiF is lower or that the conductivities are the same.

Ps.
I do understand that both these compounds are salts so they should readily ionize, but I don't know where to go from there.  Thanks!
