Fluorine & Other Gases - The Greenhouse Effect?
« on: February 07, 2011, 03:02:10 PM »
Somebody Please Help Me!!!!

I am under the impression that Nitrous Oxide (N2O) is a Greenhouse Gas.
I am under the impression that Oxygen (O2) is not a Greenhouse Gas (excluding water vapour).
I am under the impression that Helium is not a Greenhouse Gas.

I think that Nitric Oxide (No) is not a Greenhouse Gas? not certain on this.
I think Fluorine (F2) May possibly be a Greenhouse Gas? not certain on this.
I think Ozone (O3) is not a Greenhouse Gas? not certain on this.

Can someone please confirm my theories?  ???

Thank you

N2O: yes
O2: no (water vapor is H2O (g)!!!)
He: no
NO: yes (indirectly though, NOx creates ozone)
F2: no
O3: yes
