Actually I do not mind so much. Someone poses a question and I Google the answer. Then I post it and look like a Superman. Do you think they have found out my secret and I have to be Clark Kent again?
Upon further reflection one must be cautious when using the Internet as a resource. It is full of errors and there is no one editing for accuracy. I personally know of a site where they say that the driving force of Hindenburg airship fire was the paint on the skin and hydrogen is blameless. I personally have experimentally proven that it is likely that theory is false. Yet, the myth keeps being propagated on the net. The site
http://snopes.com is full of similar stories. Additionally, many have come to the wrong conclusions about a subject because they read something on the Internet and that item has only one facet about the topic. I have to be cautious when using
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page since vandalism is rampant. I am an ardent user of the Internet and Google, but I have learned to be circumspect.
