Mg+(s)H2So4(aq)=MgSo4(aq) + H2(g) + energy -> is an exothermic?
energy+so2(g) = S(g) + O2(g) -> is an endothermic?

yes. exothermic means heat is produced (the world literally means "heat-out"), while endothermic means heat is absorbed by the reaction (once again, it literally means "heat-in")
