Solutions - Molarity Questions
« on: March 09, 2011, 04:44:40 PM »
1.) If 515 g of NaOH is dissolved to a final total volume of 10.0 L, what is the molarity of the solution?

2.) What mass in grams of the indicated solute does each of the following solution samples contain?
a.) 173 mL of 1.49 M KBr solution = ?grams
b.) 2.05 L of 10.9 M HCl solution = ?grams

How would I set up each of these problems, and then, how would I solve them? Thanks!!
