Noobie Questions
« on: March 16, 2011, 01:52:45 PM »
This may not be the right thread for this, if it is sorry. :-X

I have a few questions about potassium iodine, I noticed the chemical thingy ??? for it was (k1o3) and in some of my organic fertilizers there is a good amount of (k1o5) in an emergency could this protect from someone from nuclear fallout like potassium iodine.

Thanks for your time, oh chemical gurus ;D

Knowing why you got a question wrong is better than knowing that you got a question right.

That's about 20 mSv per year if my math is not failing me. Compare with this information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Background_radiation#Natural_background_radiation
