Trying to find a Solidifier that is water Soluble

Hi, I am trying to find some sort of non-toxic
chemical/additive that can be added to a lotion type liquid (or a regular
liquid) that will cause it to harden. It does not matter if you have to do
something else (for example bake) for this to happen. BUT I nead it that
afterwards when you make it wet, it will turn back into its original form.

wow that does sound interesting. Are you adding it to a lotion or just to plain water?

I was making lotions last week and used stearic acid as a "thickener" that gave the lotions more substance, I wouldn't say that it went hard though.

What about gelatin or something like that? Does it have to turn solid and go back to liquid?
