What is the best way to determine contaminants in solvents? For instance Special Boiling Point product having heavy end. That is high in dry point. IS UV method is the only way?

It really depends on the solvent and the contaminates and concentrations presents. For your typical organic solvents GC-MS would probably be the easiest and fastest way.
